Karey Thieman , CNP
Thieman completed her undergraduate work at Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. In 1997, she graduated from South Dakota State University with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing.
Thieman is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is also a certified instructor through the American Academy of Pediatrics for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and is certified through the American Heart Association as an instructor for CPR and ACLS. Thieman also holds certification through the Oncology Nursing Society.
A longtime member of the South Dakota Perinatal Association, Thieman serves as President-Elect for this organization.
She is a member of the South Dakota Board of Nursing and the American Nurse's Association.
A Winner Regional employee since 1992, she has worked both as a staff RN and in PAR. She has served as the hospital's Chief Nursing Officer since 1999.
Thieman resides in Winner with her husband Craig and four children Ashley, Carleen, Madison, and Landon.
