Winner Regional Health Expands Specialty Outreach Services with Orthopedic Care from Dr. Aaron Black

Winner Regional Health is proud to announce the expansion of our Specialty Outreach Clinic services with the addition of orthopedic care provided by Dr. Aaron Black, MD. Dr. Black will provide orthopedic evaluations, diagnostics, treatment plans, and select minor procedures for patients throughout our region.

Dr. Black is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialized training in sports medicine and orthopedic trauma. He completed his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine, followed by an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Tufts Medical Center and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Taos Orthopedic Institute.

Throughout his career, Dr. Black has built an impressive reputation caring for patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions affecting the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. His expertise includes shoulder injuries, knee injuries, sports medicine, fracture care, arthritis management, and orthopedic trauma.

In addition to caring for patients in clinical settings, Dr. Black has extensive experience working with athletes and active individuals. He currently serves as a physician for the U.S. Ski Team and has provided medical coverage for numerous sporting organizations, schools, ski patrols, and athletic events. His background treating everyone from elite athletes to community members gives him a unique perspective on helping patients return to the activities they enjoy.

Dr. Black has also served in several leadership positions, including Medical Staff President and Director of Sports Medicine at St. Anthony Summit Hospital in Colorado.
